Siva Vadivelazhagan is an investment and technology professional with over 15 years of experience spanning private equity, venture capital, and AI-native company building across Emerging Asia and the United States. He serves as a Partner at Pinetree Venture Partners, leading the India investment program, portfolio oversight, and operations.

Previously, Siva served as Investment Director at Maj Invest, a Danish asset manager, where he managed the firm’s financial inclusion private equity portfolio and led growth equity investments in Indian financial services companies, holding board-level positions across multiple portfolio companies. Prior to this, he was Investment Manager at Triple Jump, a Dutch impact investor, where he managed its Asia Pacific private debt portfolio, and at Incofin Investment Management, a Belgian impact VC, where he oversaw the South Asia portfolio and led technical assistance programs. He built his analytical foundation in risk consulting at Deloitte.

Across these roles, Siva has deployed and actively managed over USD 1 billion in capital across eight countries, supporting founders through complex strategic and operational decisions. His investment career has been complemented by direct exposure to building and advising AI-native companies across fintech, SaaS, and healthcare, giving him a practitioner’s perspective on technology adoption relevant to Pinetree’s portfolio thesis.

Siva holds a BA in Economics from SRCC, University of Delhi, and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
