The financial returns generated by Motortramp’s investment team directly support the philanthropic operations of the primary owner, Orients Fond.

As CIO, Per directs the firm’s investment strategy and asset allocation across a multi-asset portfolio with a long-term, multi-generational focus. The firm typically commits DKK 75–250m per deployment, favoring significant minority stakes (25–49%) in active partnerships. The strategy spans direct private equity, global shipping, and alternative assets.

Prior to Motortramp, Per built a multi-decade career in Danish private equity and M&A advisory. He was a Partner at Maj Invest Equity, one of Denmark’s leading private equity firms, where he sourced and managed mid-market buyouts across the Nordic region. Before that, he was a Partner at EY Transaction Advisory Services, specializing in strategic financial analysis, corporate valuations, and complex M&A transactions.
